Thank God for Recovery Week
Anyone who has ever worked out knows that in the beginning of a newly started workout routine you are excited, enthused and just ready to see results immediately by doing whatever it takes. However by week 3 that excitement and attitude dies down a little bit and sometimes you just don’t feel like working out. This is the point when real change is about to begin in your body. This part of the routine is when your mind needs to take charge of your body instead of the other way around and you grind out those last weeks and get the body of your dreams.
Doing P90x and Insanity is not easy my body is taking a beating but I combat that with good nutrition and protein shakes. Right now I was at the point t that I described earlier almost not wanting to continue but I know my goal and I know if I give up now I would never reach it, that would suck. So just when I thought my body was about to plateau the geniuses of Insanity and P90x put in a recovery week! The great part about it is since I started P90x one week after insanity their recovery week is at the same damn time. YESSSSS! So I am going to take advantage of this week and eat well and let the body heal and repair its self and come back with a vengeance.
Challenge Update!
Wuzup Team I hope you guys had a great weekend. This challenge is not getting any easier, however I am starting to see transformation in my body. The constant tearing and healing of the muscles definitely had me sore this weekend but in spite of all that, after my rest day today I feel like I will be 100 % ready to give insanity and p90x my all. Your all is anyone can ask for. What really drives me is setting a goal and going after with all you got because the feeling that you get when you accomplish it is absolutely unexplainable, it’s one of those priceless moments that you will always remember. The feeling is even better when you can actually look at a picture of yourself from a couple of months ago and know that you are a better version of your self, feeling more confident, healthier, feelin good and lookin good. We are now entering week 4 of insanity and week 3 of p90x. It only gets better from here. The price of excellence is discipline remember that! TeamBuilt2strong Lets Goooo!
The Challenge
So first thing first I hope you all are working Hard because I’m working my ass off. Now here’s the challenge, me and my older Bro, Ian, has decided to do Beach Body’s P90x and Insanity at the same time. This is something that has been attempted but has never been done and documented as far as I know, we plan to stick to the plan for the full 90 days. So for the next 90 days we are going full throttle after this challenge. We will have before and after pictures when its all said and done but in the mean time time the majority of post will be about this challenge until its all over on Dec.10,2012 . We are already about two weeks in and its tough but I love a good challenge! Join us if you dare.
